Before starting Apex sessions, I was in alot of pain and very limited. I was experiencing pain down my right arm that would intensify with any kind of movement. My pain kept me up at night and I had to sleep a certain way. I had an MRI and was scheduled for neck surgery. I have tried Medical massage, Chiropractic, heat, ice and anti-inflammatories. Adding Apex with Chiropractic and Massage services, I’m not in pain anymore and I don’t have to have surgery. I am sleeping a whole lot better. It’s just kind of miraculous. I was seen right away. I have already recommended Apex to others. Dr. Thomas not only knows what he’s doing, but he is also very encouraging.
When I first came in, I had numbness from my lower back all the way down my left leg and left side. Apex really stretched things out and the numbness went away. My body is now working how it’s supposed to be. I’m now more active without having to worry about my side being numb all the time. I have enjoyed the friendliness, open communication and getting my problem fixed. I have already recommended others to Apex.
I have a bulging disc at C5/6, whiplash injury, and had a locked up C1/2. I was miserable. I couldn’t move my neck, had back pain, vertigo, and my nervous system was heightened making me anxiety ridden. I battled eye strain and headaches. I couldn’t hold a conversation without being in pain. I could barely work. I was on Tizanidine, Ibuprofen, and Tylenol daily. I couldn’t stand for over ten minutes without back pain. I couldn’t drive and had no appetite causing me to lose too much weight. I had previously tried chiropractic, massage, and physical therapy over the course of 18 months.
After treatment 1 of Apex, my nervous system relaxed causing a reduction in my anxiety. After treatment 3, I was able to go off of my Tizanidine, Tylenol, & Ibuprofen. My back pain reduced significantly and I was up & moving. My C1/2 unlocked. I was able to drive again. After treatment 8, I am functioning, and feeling good. I have no headaches and my eye strain has reduced. I am able to attend BBQ’s, take my kids to the beach, bake, do dishes, and everyday tasks that I was not able to do previously. Dr Thomas & Johnnie were very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. I was very hesitant and guarded with my neck issues and they were able to create a comfortable environment for me to relax and be treated. Anyone who deals with back/neck pain should at least consider this option as a treatment. It saved me. I will never take for granted the ability to move my body again.
Life was one big long headache. Since I was 12 years old, I have struggled with them on a weekly basis. Constantly taking ibuprofen and getting adjusted. I no longer have headaches, unless I go too long without an Apex treatment. There’s a sense of freedom in waking up in the morning, and feeling refreshed, because I’m able to sleep through the night without waking up from a headache. I have already recommended Apex to others because of how successful it is.
